Facebook whistleblower Frances Haugen is in the news again as a new film, The Social Reckoning, puts her account before the public. Starring Mikey Madison and Jeremy Allen White, the film recreates her choice to reveal what the company knew internally.
Haugen spoke to journalists she has "extreme worry" about a culture shift at Meta and believes Zuckerberg is making risky bets with AI. She said she hopes the film moves others to come forward, telling The Verge she wants it to give others the courage to go public.
